Here at Schmidt & Bender we care very much about our customers and work very hard to keep them happy. Therefore, the people in our Service Department make every effort to process all customer requests in a competent, reliable and prompt manner. We guarantee that our clients can fully enjoy our after-sales services until 30 years after the delivery of their scope. In the first 10 years after buying the scope the service will even be free of charge, provided the claim is based on material defects or faulty workmanship. All repair shipments will be confirmed to the sender immediately upon their receipt. After completion of the repair the client receives a diagnosis report with his scope, informing him in detail on the service performed. Older scopes automatically receive an exact quote on the charges to be expected prepared by the responsible people in our service department.
A service that has been frequently used over the last few years is the retrofitting of illuminated reticles. Schmidt & Bender scopes with the serial numbers > 10.000 on variable models and > 35.000 on an 8x56 model are eligible for the retrofitting of an illuminated reticle. While being serviced all our scopes will always undergo a complete cleaning procedure as well as a careful nitrogen fill-up.
