Turrets: Defence & Competition

The adjustment turrets from Schmidt & Bender are among the most precise, reliable, and versatile on the market. With clearly defined clicks, outstanding user ergonomics, and exceptional repeatability, they set new standards for both sporting and tactical applications. All turret models are available in clockwise (cw) and counterclockwise (ccw) configurations, ensuring maximum flexibility for different operational requirements.

Functions (Abbreviations)

DT (Double-Turn)
MT  (Multi-Turn)
ST  (Single-Turn)
cw (clockwise)
ccw (counter clockwise)

 0.1 mrad = 1 cm / 100 m

MTC = More Tactile Clicks Function

The MTC function provides a significantly stronger tactile feedback at every full mrad increment, enabling fast and secure corrections without taking the eye off the target.

ZC = Zero Click

The Zero Click provides a distinct, tactile click at the zero, giving the shooter a clear reference to the starting position and enabling quick and reliable adjustments without taking the eye off the target.

SZC = Sub-Zero Clicks

Sub-Zero Clicks are located below the engraved “0” and allow rapid adjustments when using accessories such as suppressors, when environmental conditions change, or when engaging targets at shorter distances.

CT = Capped Turret

The protective screw on cap for the turret reliably prevents against unintentional adjustments.

LT = Locking Turret

Gen I:
The first-generation locking mechanism uses an outer locking sleeve. Lifting the sleeve unlocks the turret; pressing it down re-engages the lock. When locked, the red “LOCKED” marking provides a clear status indication.

Gen II:
Elevation Turret (DT II+ / MT II):
The second generation uses a Mode Lever to switch between Locked, MTC, and Non-MTC modes.

  • When the lever points toward the muzzle, the turret is in the Locked mode and the indicator window shows Red.
  • A 45° turn counterclockwise unlocks the turret and activates the MTC mode and the indicator window shows Green.
  • In the final counterclockwise position, the turret is in Non-MTC mode and the indicator window shows Black.

Windage Turret (ST II / DT II+):

A Mode Lever also controls the locking function. When switching from locked to unlocked, the indicator window changes from Red to Green.
