Red Dot and Riflescope Combined

The 1-8x24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC combines the advantages of a red dot sight with those of a riflescope, covering a wide range of tactical applications at short to medium distances. It is ideally suited for assault rifles and designated marksman platforms, performing reliably in both dynamic and static operational scenarios.

In 2016, the system proved itself by winning the German Armed Forces G28 Patrol configuration tender. Shortly thereafter, it was selected for the French FPSA program, where more than 3,000 systems have since been fielded. Today, the optic is trusted by various NATO nations, specialized US military units, as well as anti-terror and law-enforcement teams worldwide.

A large exit pupil ensures fast and dependable target acquisition, while the patented CC mode enables true parallax-free shooting at close range. With an optical resolution of eight arcseconds at 8× magnification, the system delivers a bright, high-definition image capable of revealing fine details even under the most demanding conditions.

Its rugged construction withstands extreme stresses, including the Five Orientation Drop Test and recoil forces of several thousand g. The optic remains fully operational down to –46 °C (climate zone C2). For fast shot correction the user can take the first focal plane tactical reticle. For a extreme precise correction the ultra-low, lockable adjustment turrets featuring MTC or ZC functionality can be used. The red dot in the second focal plane offers minimal target obstruction at high magnification while remaining clearly visible at low magnification.

The 1-8x24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC is therefore an optimal solution for tactical operations at short to medium ranges—delivering precision, durability, and reliability under all conditions.
