The addition of "Varmint" designates the major use of this scope with an extreme magnification. Here, we mean especially the prairie dog which is responsible for a lot of damage on the grazing lands of American farmers. The big magnification, in combination with brilliant optics and the comfortable parallax compensation provides the hunter with the best equipment available for the hunting of this sensitive game. Even at distances of 700-800 yards this special scope has already proven its practical use. Besides hunting this scope is also used very successfully in sports shooting events.
