Sales

Major tasks:

• Preparing tenders
• Processing national and international orders up to the shipment of goods
• Processing contract documentation
• Processing and monitoring of customs procedures
• Active customer support
• Acquiring new customers
• Establishing measures for the promotion of sales in cooperation with the marketing department
• Participating in trade shows, exhibitions, etc.
• Visiting customers in support of the marketing department

Necessary qualifications:

• Experience in internal and/or external sales
• Skills in the field of order processing (if possible in the international trading business)
• Profound knowledge of the industry and a hunter’s license would be useful
• Very good knowledge in English, orally and in writing (other foreign languages would be helpful)
• Willingness to travel

Design Engineer

Major tasks:

• Independent design of opto-mechanical parts and assemblies as well as tooling for scopes and other long-range optical instruments in a CAD system following predefined specifications
• Technical clarification and coordination of developments with other departments, in particular with respect to the design of optical systems, marketing, purchasing and quality assurance
• Preparing assembly drawings, detailed drawings, exploded drawings and specifications
• Accompanying projects from the concept phase via prototype construction and quality control up to serial production
• Preparing the necessary documentation, manuals and parts lists, also in English

Necessary qualifications:

• Degree in engineering or mechatronics or a comparable vocational training
• Sound knowledge of CAD systems, preferably Inventor
• Initial experience in the engineering of opto-mechanical components would be helpful
• Basic knowledge in optical sciences would be helpful
• Basic knowledge in electronics would be helpful
• Basic knowledge of Matlab or any other programming language
• Very good analytic capacities
• Capable of working independently and target-oriented

Optics Designer

Major tasks:

• Preparing independent concepts for the design of optical systems in the field of optical sights and observation technology
• Preparing optical designs including optimization, evaluation and toleration
• Performing independent analyses, evaluations and documentations of simulation results
• Engaging in the development of software tools
• Accompanying projects from the concept phase to serial production

Necessary qualifications:

• Degree in mathematics, physics or any other comparable vocational training
• Sound knowledge in the fields of optimization and numeric sciences
• Safe programming skills in Matlab or in any other standard programming language
• Basic knowledge in optical sciences would be helpful
• Initial experience with optics design programs such as e.g. Zemax or Code V would be helpful
• Capable of working independently and target-oriented
• An above-average amount of creativity, personal initiative and engagement

Construction Engineer ( Electronics )

Major tasks:

• Independent development and CAD construction of complex electromechanical and opto-electronic components and assemblies for scopes and long-range optical instruments
• Developing other innovative electronic components and products
• Developing test equipment
• Follow-up of technological developments in the field of opto-electronics
• Technical clarification and coordination of developments with other sectors
• Preparing assembly drawings, detailed drawings, exploded drawings and specifications
• Accompanying projects from the prototype phase up to serial production
• Preparing the necessary developing documentation, manuals and parts lists, also in English

Necessary qualifications:

• Degree in electronics, mechatronics, opto-electronics or any other comparable vocational training
• Sound knowledge of CAD systems, preferably Inventor
• Experience in the development and construction of opto-electronic components
• Knowledge in optical sciences
• Very good analytic capacities
• Capable of working independently and target-oriented

Marketing Support

Major tasks:

• Conception and agency briefing for catalogues, brochures, flyers and posters
• Preparing printing requests and bid comparisons
• Independently preparing printing documents
• Updating media and ad databases
• Updating and preparing websites
• Textual and graphic design of ads, product data sheets, catalogues and trade show presentations
• Organizing trade shows and events

Necessary qualifications:

• Degree in media design, graphic design or any comparable vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable job position
• Knowledge of the standard graphic software as well as profound skills in DTP and production
• Knowledge in media design (internet/web)
• Creativity and conceptual power
• Good English, orally and in writing
• Distinctive capacities with respect to communications and teamwork
• Engagement, stress resistance, assertiveness and target-orientation
• Organizational skills and customer-orientation
